Unwind and immerse yourself in the art of slow stitching, using a curated selection of sustainably sourced fabrics, vintage threads, and other delightful materials. This workshop invites you to explore your creativity by crafting a unique textile piece of your choice—whether it’s inspired by a Summer landscape, an abstract design, or something entirely your own. Guided by Sue of Sunshine Designs Dollar, a passionate textile enthusiast and experienced tutor, you’ll discover relaxing stitching techniques and the joy of creating with your hands. Sue has led sell-out workshops at the Edinburgh Fringe and delights in sharing her love of textiles and creativity with participants of all skill levels. Details: 🕙 Time: 10am – 12.30pm (2 ½ hours with a break for refreshments) 👥 Experience: Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike—no prior skills needed. 🎨 Supplies: All fabrics, tools, and equipment provided.
